I have known Gabriella for almost as long as I have been in yachting. She has delivered flowers to my yachts all over the Mediterranean and has never, ever let me down. Her flowers and arrangement are always ‘better than the competition’ and you can safely rely upon her to go even further when something extraordinary is required..

She is an artiste complet, she continuously astounds us with her magical creations. A complex mixture of leaves, flowers, stones, glass candles and other delicate items compose her most beautiful pieces which never fail to please herself or her clients. Each arrangement begins from a seed, they are constantly fed by the life around them and at times by accident. They consist of all the colours, visions, energy and fantasy that surround our every day but cannot be captured any other way. As Gabriella always says “…I flori parlano”… all you must do is listen.

Gabriella is a force of nature, she has a truly unique creative talent, and this is echoed throughout her work. If you are ever lucky enough to visit her flower shop in San Remo, the wonderful fragrances greet you before you enter, the vast abundance of colourful blooms which fill this exciting space from ceiling to floor, everywhere you look is a floral wonder and it reflects the artists true passion. Her lively decorations can be admired on the boats throughout the world oceans, whether floating or still life the magical colours and textures are the signature of my dear friends talent.

We had a fantastic summer!
I just wanted to thank you for all your help for all the season with your fantastic flower arrangements. They have all been so beautiful. Sure I see you next summer for more and more lovely flowers.

Gabriella e’ una pittrice di fiori, anzi raffigura scene con i fiori.
Piu’ precisamente e’ un’artista della scuola neo-impressionista Francese. Alle figure sostituisce corolle ottenendo lo stesso effetto di armonia di colori e di forme.
Leggendo il suo libro, magnificamente illustrato, non ci si aspetti un trattato di floricoltura e ne un dettato di tecniche da eseguire per ottenere composizioni, ma bensi’ un’opera letteraria di genere autobiografico. E’ un monologo continuo, un flusso ininterrotto della coscienza che ricorda joyce, ma solo un po’ perche’ non c’e’ ricorso ad audacie lessicali.

Abbondano nel testo felici trovate come: “il disordine vero e cosi’ spontaneo, armonioso, da essere studiato”, oppure “assortimenti cromatici”, oppure “per un alchimia magica difficile da comprendere, cosi’ bella da non dover essere compresa”. Questa e’ l’avventura, stavo per dire di alice, ma invece e’ l’avventura di Gabriella nel paese delle meraviglie.

I was the Chief Stewardess on the Motor Yacht Octopussy a 43 m Heesen in the year of 2007 where I met Gabriella. Octopussy was an extremely busy charter yacht with the most prestigious clients cruising all over the Mediterranean. The Captain was very fond of Gabriella not only for her personal charm but Gabriella managed to produce the most amazing flower arrangements wether we would be in St Tropez or Naples .

Gabriella’s passion for flowers is overwhelming and each week she would turning up with beautiful new arrangements and make the yacht look beautiful. Gabriella really is a true artist and I thank her for being in my life.

Gabriella spunta come un invocato capriccio in quel lembo di terra, quasi sospeso, che non e’ piu’ l’Italia e non e’ ancora la Francia.
Spunta come il rubino delle sue rose in mezzo allé articiocche che sentono il salmastro.
Perche’ anche lei e’un fiore che ora si nasconde per noi in quella musica colorata che le sue dita leggere sanno comporre.
Ed e’ il profumo della sua vita che, per un attimo, ci fa respirare,
Respirare insieme ai sentori preziosi e seducenti delle sue alchimie floreali.
Poi come ogni bellezza, anche queste note svaniranno agli occhi per migrare nei territori del cuore e del sogno.
Dove resteranno per sempre.
